How do we rate characters in Aether Gazer

This is our main factors in this tier list. Damage dealer is the main role in this game. In End game contents, you have limited time to beat the level. If your character can’t deal the certain damage in limited time, you won’t able to beat that level.

If their range attack is strong enough, why not? This will make your life more easier. You can keep spam your attack without worry about close-range attack and it’s easier to dodge an attack from long range.

If their AOE attack can wipe big group of enemies! Of Course!

Some characters are strong in term of damage but they are really hard to use in reality like too long combo or step to boost the damage or have low mobility.


Example: Ryugiri – Kagutsuchi is the strong character in term of damage but you need to maintain his combo to unlock his potential and it might not easy to dodge some attack while maintain the combo.

There are support skills which can make you team stronger like Phantasmal Dawn – Hera or Enlightening – Heimdall which can buff their teammate’s attack.

Healer is good for beginner. But in late contents, you don’t need them. Just avoid and dodge every attacks.

Of course! Signature Functor will make your character become more stronger. But some signature Functor might not worth for F2P Player.

Of course! If you want your character to be stronger. But this is just optional. For S-Rank characters, S-Rank is enough to beat every contents.

IF you are F2P Player and they are you main, you can get another dupe and rise them to SS-Rank for functor level bonus.
