Erwin Smith เป็นตัวละครที่มีจุดเด่นคือมีค่า Leadership และ Health เยอะที่สุดในเกม จุดด้อยคือไม่มีสกิล Chain Dash หรือ Stealth ทำให้โดนไททันโจมตีได้ง่าย แต่มี Health เยอะและสกิล Guts มาช่วยข้อด้อย โดยรวมแล้วถือว่าเป้นตัวละละครที่ค่อนข้างเก่ง ถ้าใช้ Decisive Battle Signal แล้วปามีดใส่ไททันโดนทั้ง 2 ใบมีดก้จัดว่าโจมตีเป็นอันดับต้นๆเลยที่เดียว
