ข้อพึงปฏิบัติ (Code of Conduct) คือ กฎกติกาในการเล่นเกม Deceit ซึ่งถูกตั้งขึ้นมาเพื่อเป็นแนวทางการปฏิบัติแก่ผู้เล่นโดยเฉพาะในการเล่น และยังเป็นกฎเหล็กที่เป็นทางในการพิจารณาโทษภายในเกมอีกด้วย

Communication and interactions “A person’s character may be learned from the adjectives which they habitually use in conversation.” – Mark Twain Whether working together as a team or trying to mislead your opponent, interacting with other players is key to attaining success in the games we create. There are many ways to interact — through text and voice chat in game, via external programs and on the forums to name a few. We encourage players to get involved, discuss the things they enjoy and to give feedback on the things they don’t. Players should always be mindful of the language and methods of communication they choose to use. You are solely responsible for the way you express yourself. Discriminatory, disruptive, obscene, racist or threatening language are all inappropriate and will not be tolerated. Use of in game abilities to the detriment of teammates, throwing games, griefing or trolling are also against our rules. The provided lists are not exhaustive, common sense sets the standard for how to behave. Violation of any of these rules is a reportable offence and can result in restrictions on your ability to communicate in our games. If the offense is repeated, or deemed to be too extreme, it will result in a restriction on your ability to play our games.

Naming and aliases “The name of a man is a numbing blow from which he never recovers.” – Marshall McLuhan Similarly to the words a player uses to express themselves, their name is an important component in how they interact with other users. An element of trust is placed in users when they are given the ability to customise their names, if a player chooses to abuse this privilege to represent themselves inappropriately, such as through offensive language as outlined above, they will be forced to change their name. If a player continues to betray this trust it will inevitably result in a restriction on their ability to play our games.

Cheating and exploits “I would prefer even to fail with honour than win by cheating.” – Sophocles As previously stated, our staff actively encourage competitive spirit in our games. However, there is a distinct difference between pushing your own performance and utilising tools or exploits to augment them. Gaining an unfair advantage due to methods including, but not limited to, an exploit, third party program or external tool is considered against the rules and is a strongly punishable offence. If a user is found to be doing so it will result in a restriction of their ability to play our games, potentially including future titles. Remember, you are solely responsible for all actions performed on your account.
