While most members of the family scorned her for her lack of knowledge or interest in their mechanical studies, Gustang recognized her passion and talent for the squishier side of science and sent her to pursue her dreams at the Workshop. However, after seeing the true nature of the secret Living Ignition Weapon experiments, she became fed up with the Workshop and the state of the Tower in general, and choose to walk her own path.
