After the Day of the Tragedy, to test the poison she had concocted, she cornered the Undead in the darkness, placed a syringe of therapeutic venom to her bow, and pulled the bowstring, aiming the bow at them. With each draw, Veleno reminded herself. She told herself that she did not have the option of not being able to heal the Undead. Despite the horror of the situation, she would not stop researching the poison, the key to turning this around, and she would continue to make sacrifice, even herself
