What is Shrine?

The Shrine will apply Invulnerable to surrounding enemy targets. It requires priority destruction before DMG can be dealt to other enemies. The Shrine has a set Durability, and various weapon types have different DMG effects on it, with the Pistol effect being the worst and the Shotgun effect being the best.
