Juvosis
A chronic, noncommunicable disease that was first discovered by scientists 40 years ago, named for its typical occurrence in juveniles 14-19 years of age. Most patients suffer from visual and auditory hallucinations and subsequent internal organ failure. Their brains may also be affected, which can lead to death in serious cases. Baldr Inhibitors are currently the most effective drug for treating Juvosis.
Manifestations
Those people who are able to activate their Deiwos, even unconsciously, are known as Manifestations. Manifestations often believe themselves to be mythical gods that have been slumbering for ages, now awakened by the appearance of the Titans. They possess incredible physical and mental fortitude, and the strongest among them can even call upon the mysterious power of Titagen to aid them in combat.
Heimdall Force
Manifestations began appearing in the immediate aftermath of the First Descent, with Wednesday the first to be discovered. Yggdrasil leadership began seeking out and recruiting Manifestations to serve in their newly formed anti-Titan paramilitary, the Heimdall Force. The Force’s performance made a big impression. This positive response led Yggdrasil to develop the Force further by providing logistics and early-warning capabilities, while also capitalizing on the Force’s popularity with product endorsement and sponsorship deals.
The First Descent
A massive Titan suddenly appeared during the Eighth Valkyrie Games Finals, inexplicably vanishing only after it decimated the competition venue and caused countless casualties. This event is now known as the First Descent. The Titans are enveloped in thick exoskeletons, with outward appearances resembling that of a female human. Since the First Descent, smaller Titans of similar form have continued to appear at random locations and times in other Titan Descents, causing serious harm in crowded areas.
Containment Zone Aleph
That first Titan disappeared as suddenly as it had appeared, leaving behind large quantities of the poisonous contaminant now known as Titagen. Yggdrasil Enterprises mobilized their resources in building the first Containment Walls. They hope it would stop the further spread of Titagen and act as a defensive precaution should the Titans come back.A spate of Titan attacks taking place as the Walls were being built, but with time the construction work was completed and what had been the host city now became Containment Zone Aleph.
Titagen
A crystalline substance found within the Containment Zone, Titagen seems to be the same material that makes up the bodies of the Titans themselves. Titagen is highly toxic, with prolonged exposure capable of causing a severe medical problems.
Tggdrasil Enterprises
Yggdrasil Enterprises is a multinational conglomerate involved in a wide range of industries, including AI, robotics, biopharmaceuticals, and entertainment. The company developed the drug known as Baldr Inhibitors specifically to treat Juvosis, and it launched the thrilling Valkyrie Games, which became a dominant force in the entertainment world. After the Descent, Yggdrasil rushed to form the Heimdall Force to fight against the Titans. However, there seems to be some dubious intentions and hidden purposes behind its actions.
